[/caption]Songbird Brandy readying for her sixth studio album set to be released this June. The Moesha star has reinvented her image and sound describing her new summer album as a mix between R&B, Pop, and Hip Hop. In an interview with YRB Magazine, Brandy explained the album title Two Eleven:
“Some of the titles I was working with were Rebirth, Reincarnation, Reinvention, Resurrection… I just felt like Two Eleven describes all of that. It’s the day I was born, and each year, I evolve and change with time. It also has a whole new meaning to it because I gained my angel. My icon is my angel now. It’s all tied in there and I just think it best represents who I am and the responsibilities I have moving on.”
So the title represents her birth date and her icon's passing date.... we all know that Whitney Houston was very close to Brandy and I thinks its BEYOND ironic that she died on Brandy's birthday...then to hear Brandy speak of Rebirth and Reincarnation ...my conspiracy mind is buggin out, but let's stay focused on the new look......
Brandy is clearly going from America's Princess to an edgier, bolder image and I have to say...I'm feelin it! It's different and will take a lot of getting used too since we all have our squeaky clean images of Brandy, but the 33 year-old singer looks phenomenal with the short hairdo; I think it brings out her features much better, but I'd like to see classier and subtly fashionable attire mirroring Halle Berry. But this is a start...
